What Life is all About ?

A Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could.

He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry, thirsty or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.

Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying.

Then he asked himself, "Why did I pushed myself so hard to cover so much land area?

Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."

The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition.

We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love to do.

One day when we look back, we will realize that we don't really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.

Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work!

Work is only necessary to keep us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasures of life.

Lessons to Learn from The Story

Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your Life. Define your priorities, realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on your instincts.

Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life,
the whole aim of human existence.
So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature.
Life is fragile, Life is short.
Do not take Life for granted.
Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life!

Ponder #1

Why do frogs close their eyes when swallowing?

There is a downside to those big, beautiful frog eyes. While they may attract the admiration of their beady-eyed human counterparts, frog eyes bulge not only on the outside but on the inside of their face. The underside of their eyeball is covered by a sheet of tissue and protrudes into the mouth cavity. frogs literally cannot swallow unless the use their eyes to push the food down their stomach. Richard Landesman, zoologist at the University of Vermont, amplifies:

"In order for frogs to swallow, they must be able to push material in the mouth backwards into the oesophagus. Humans use their tongue to accomplish this task; however, frogs use their eyes. By depressing their eyes, food can be pushed posteriorly in the mouth. Frogs also use this same mechanism to breathe, since they lack a diaphragm."

If we ate what frogs eat, we might close our eyes when swallowing too.

Perang Gadget...aduhai..

Kaki gadget?? Mungkin ya mungkin tidak.

Aku pakai handphone tu sampai habis belajar. Lebih kurang 4 tahun. Lama tu.Time tu dia dah mula wat perangai skit-sikit. Charging tak penuh-penuh, bila jawab panggilan caller tak dengar suara aku. Dah cuba tukar bateri baru tapi masalah charging still tak solve. Habis je belajar, dapat plak hadiah E65 dan masa tu 6510 memang dah merajuk tak nak hidup dah. Mungkin membawa hati. Kesian.

Kisah bersama E65 pun menarik. Sliding type plus ada camera. 2MP tak silap. Handphone ni pun sangat-sangat berjasa. Keypad dia jenis biasa, so memang senang nak tulis SMS. Lebih kurang 3 tahun bersama handphone ni, bateri dia mengalami masalah yang sama macam 6510 dulu. Bila charging tak penuh-penuh. Hangin jugak aku ni. So, pegilah menukar bateri baru, tetapi tetap tak solve. Actually, handphone ni dah mula bermasalah sejak bulan pertama aku pakai lagi. Lampu dekat keypad tu tak menyala bila nak type, tapi aku ignore kan je, sebab, biasalah..dah mahir dengan keypad biasa.

Layankan aje.

Sekarang, perang Tablet PC dah bermula. Yang aku berminat nak tau cuma iPad dan Galaxy Tab. Model-model lain pun ada cuma tak berapa menonjol kemunculannya, jadi aku pun tak berapa nak ambik tau. HTC, Playtool, Xoom, just to name it. Bagai pucuk dicita ulam mendatang. COOL.

2. Oh, tapi kenapa pulak tidak?

Sebab, duit takde lah......

Life Is a Gift

Today before you say an unkind word -
Think of someone who can' t speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food -
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife -
Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life -
Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before whining about the distance you drive
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job -
Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down -
Put a smile on your face and think:
you' re alive and still around.
